WINES
The Colomé wines reflect the soul of our special
terroir at high altitude.
Colomé Reserva (High Ultra Premium). Our vines 100- 150
years old are the backbone of our black label Reserva. Our
Reserva is composed by 80% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and
the remaining 5% by other red grapes varieties. A very singular
and matchless wine.
Colomé Estate (Ultra Premium). The Estate is an authentic
regional wine with a high percentage of the typical variety of
Malbec Argentina grape in combination with small percentages of
Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat. The 2003 vintage was launched in
Switzerland by the end of 2004. In February 2005, it was
launched in Argentina and Brazil.
Colomé Torrontes (Super Premium). Is a regional white
varietals wine which comes from our old Torrontes vines,
elaborated with modern methods. Our Torrontes takes full
advantage of of Colomé’s location, thus developing its intense
fruit-bearing flavor. The high altitude is combined with the
extremely dry climate and the daily temperature range, thus
creating our very special Torrontes flavors.
Amalaya de Colomé (Premium). Our Amalaya is an excellent
wine to enjoy daily. The wine elegantly combines good structure
and fruits. Elaborated mainly with Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet
Sauvignon and Tannat. part the grapes for this wine come from
our own vineyards and others are acquired from independent
producers of the Chani Valley. The Amalaya is not elaborated
organically.
